Special thanks to our honoree this year, Justine Fedak, whose moving presentation inspired everyone in the room.

Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with MS within the last two years? Success with MS is a program that covers a wide range of topics on living with an MS diagnosis. This free two-part program takes place on Mondays, September 9 & 16 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., at the University of Chicago campus in Hyde Park. Attendance at both sessions is required. Register today!

LIVING WELL WITH MS

Northwestern University Comprehensive Multiple Sclerosis Program presents Living Well with MS, on Saturday, September 14, at Prentice Women’s Hospital in downtown Chicago, beginning at 9:30 a.m. Program is limited to 100 guests, so register early. See flyer for more info about guest speakers and program topics.

MEETING THE CHALLENGES

Meeting The ChallengesDo you care for someone living with MS? Participate in our free, five-part program specifically for care partners led by a professional Occupational Therapist that strives to help family and friends support and assist a person with MS. The program will take place from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on October 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30 at Alexian Rehabilitation Hospital in Elk Grove Village. Attendance at all five sessions is encouraged. Register today!

Greater Illinios Chapter Research Symposium

Mark your calendars for our 18th Annual Fannie and Charles Penikoff Research Symposium, on October 19. This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Steven Goldman, M.D., Ph.D, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester (NY), and Neurologist-in-Chief of Strong Memorial Hospital. Registration opens on September 3.

*Notice of Annual Meeting: The Greater Illinois Chapter will hold its annual membership meeting for the purposes of electing a Board of Trustees, considering the Treasurer’s report on the Chapter's accounts, and any other reports that may be presented on Saturday, October 19, beginning at approximately noon at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, 9300 Bryn Mawr Ave., Rosemont, IL.
