Midwest Indoor Tri-Classic Race Series
Mini-triathlon series benefiting the National MS Society, includes 10-minute swim, 20-minute stationary bike ride, and 15-minute run on an indoor track. Fees range from $40 to $100. Dates & locations:

Success with MS Workshop Series
Registration is now open for Success with MS, a free, two-part educational series for people newly diagnosed with MS (or seeking introductory info about their MS). Dr. Daniel Wynn and Cathy Meyer, R.N., from Consultants in Neurology Ltd. will discuss all aspects of living with MS including the physical and emotional impact following diagnosis, talking to family, friends and employers, and financial considerations for the future. Wednesdays, February 8 & 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. Join us!

New Self-Employment Online Course
Interested in starting a business but don’t know how? The Midwest Region of the National MS Society is offering a five-week online course through Virginia Commonwealth University beginning Monday, January 23 that will educate you on successfully running your own business. The course covers how to write a business plan, conduct a feasibility study, access community supports, identify funding, and use work incentives. There is a $25 fee to register.

Multiple Solutions Pub Crawl in January
Ring in the New Year with Multiple Solutions, the junior board of the Greater Illinois Chapter, at the annual Multiple Solutions Pub Crawl on Saturday, January 7. It's a 10-bar crawl up Southport Avenue in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood benefiting the National MS Society. A $30 donation to participate includes an official pub crawl t-shirt, mug, and raffle ticket, in addition to food and drink specials at each bar.

Give Your Fundraising a Boost
Boundless Fundraising is a Facebook application that enables you to extend your fundraising beyond your Walk MS or Bike MS Participant Center. Once you register for these events, you will be given the option to add the Boundless Fundraising app to your Facebook page with a few simple clicks. The app will display your fundraising on your Facebook page where friends can check your progress and donate. It’s that easy and all you need to do to get started is register for one of our great events!
