ILD Meeting the Challenges holding hands graphicThe Greater Illinois Chapter invites care partners to attend a special a five-week series, Meeting the Challenges of MS: Providing Support through Problem Solving. This workshop series begins Tuesday, September 20, and meets weekly on Tuesday evenings through October 18. The series will be led by a trained professional, and we ask that you attend all five workshops in the series.

This program, developed by Marcia Finlayson, Ph.D., OT, OTR/L, is geared to help care partners--family and friends just like you--feel more confident in their abilities to provide support and assistance to persons with MS, prepare for and manage expected and unexpected challenges, and take care of their own health and well-being so that they can continue to provide support to their loved one with MS.

Click the blue box at the bottom of this page to register for free (or call 1.800.344.4867 to register by phone). See the box below to review detailed information to help you decide if this program is right for you. If you have specific questions, you can also contact Client Services Manager Susan Mosher at 1.312.423.1127 or susan.mosher@nmss.org.
