Heart & Soul Soar at Dinner of Champions 2011
The Greater Illinois Chapter extends our thanks to presenting sponsor McDonald's and the hundreds of passionate supporters of the movement to end MS who made Dinner of Champions 2011 a great success! The event honoring McDonald's CEO Jim Skinner took place Thursday, September 15, in the Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier.
Special guests including Meredith Vieira and Richard Cohen, comedian Tom Dreeson, National MS Society chief research officer Tim Coetzee, Ph.D., the Chicago Soul Children, and ABC 7's Kathy Brock, the evening's mistress of ceremonies, helped the spirit of the evening soar. Our is truly a movement with heart. The sense of shared purpose was powerful all evening. Thanks again to all who attended and all who made this wonderful event possible. See you next year!
(Event photos will be available on the Chapter's Picasa account beginning in October.)
