MS Youth Camp 2011 a Great Success!
In June, more than 130 campers, volunteers, and staff enjoyed MS Youth Camp 2011 at Camp Icaghowan in Amery, Wisconsin. The camp is an annual, week-long experience for 6th through 11th graders, generously made possible for the fourth year in a row through a partnership of the Greater Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin chapters of the National MS Society and the Cantalupo family. The late James
Cantalupo, a former McDonald’s Corp. CEO, had a sister with MS and was a
strong National MS Society supporter. As this wonderful partnership continues, we look forward to serving more families and engaging more youth in this
life-changing program in the years that lie ahead!

Welcome New Tenants: Community Health Charities & the Lupus Foundation
In this time of economic challenges, the Chapter has sought to lower our operational costs wherever possible. To help accomplish this, earlier this year we explored opportunities to sublet extra space in our downtown Chicago office to other health-related nonprofits. The effort was successful and we are pleased to announce that beginning in August, the Illinois chapters of Community Health Charities and the Lupus Foundation of America will share our space with us. These two organizations do a spectacular job in their own fields. We invite you to click below to learn more about them.
